Guidelines for open science in arts, design and music - Cristina Grisot - Nov 18, 2024 - 1 min read Open Science for Arts, Design and Music (OS-ADM) is an Open Science project, meant to produce guidelines for researchers and scholars to use and produce open content and data in the fields of arts, design and music. The OS-ADM project invites everyone interested to the final event which marks the conclusion of the project and the launch of the guidelines.

Wednesday, 11.12.2024, 17.00-18.00 CET A presentation of the guidelines “Open Science for Arts, Design and Music: Guidelines for Researchers, Librarians and Practitioners in the Humanities”, designed to address the beauty and complexity of multimedia content and third-party rights and to support the implementation of open access and open science in the fields of arts, design and music.

The presentation is introduced by the authors Iolanda Pensa, Chiara Barbieri and Chiara Somajni, with feedback and ideas for further developments from the discussants Françoise Gouzi (Dariah EU), Irene Ragaller (ZhDK), Fiona Romeo (Wikimedia Foundation) and Brigitte Vézina (Creative Commons).

The guidelines – with a series of webinars and case studies – have been produced within the project Open Science for Arts, Design and Music (2022-24), led by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) in collaboration with ECAL, EDHEA, HEAD, University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, HKB Hochschule der Künste Bern, School of art and design at the HSLU and ZhDK, in collaboration with CCdigitallaw of USI Università della Svizzera italiana, DARIAH-EU and Creative Commons and with the support of swissuniversities.
